The Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) is an online exchange program that is designed for international youth in two age groups: ages 14-17 (Teenagers) and 18-24 (Young Adults). The central theme for the 2024 program is Peace. Through a series of dialogue sessions, video calls, and online workshops, participants will go into cultural diversity and gain insights into different mindsets.

The program’s primary goal is to cultivate mutual understanding and collaboration among young people globally. It offers a platform for participants to step beyond their comfort zones, immerse themselves in diverse cultures, traditions, and languages, and engage in activities that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and an awareness of their potential as peace advocates and ambassadors.

  • Participants will explore cultural diversity, embrace differences among peers, and embrace various perspectives.
  • The program fosters mutual understanding by challenging participants to step out of their comfort zones and engage with different cultures, traditions, languages, and conflict resolution methods.

Eligibility and Requirements

The program is:

  • Open to youth worldwide.
  • Age groups: 14-17 (Teenagers) & 18-24 (Young Adults).
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, listening) is required.
  • Access to the internet throughout the program duration (about 4-5 hours per week).

If you have previously participated in exchange programs or plan to join one during the summer of 2024. You are ineligible to apply.
