What Does the Data Center Facility Manager Do?

The Facility Manager is directly responsible for overseeing all mission-critical infrastructure in the data center. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Electrical Equipment: UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, ATS units, and wet cell batteries.
  • Mechanical Equipment: Chillers, pumps, cooling towers, HVAC units, CRAHU units, and related components.
  • Support Systems: Fire suppression, building automation, water treatment, and other facilities equipment.

This role acts as the first line of defense when troubleshooting critical issues, ensuring that operations maintain a 99.999% uptime. As part of a global team, the Facility Manager ensures service delivery aligns with AWS’s internal standards and external SLAs.

  • Oversee the physical infrastructure and ensure all operations run without disruptions.

Who Should Apply?

Minimum Qualifications
